Leeds Castle Aubusson - Hawks
Printed Linen Panel
A set of five Aubusson tapestries from the Green Dinning Room at Leeds Castle. These tapestries are believed to be from Aubusson, France, where they produced mainly large decorative wall hangings.
The Leeds Castle tapestries depict pastoral scenes bordered by Ionic columns and swags of flowers. Large legends hang from the architrave, containing musical instruments, farming tools and further flowers.
This particular series of tapestries have proved to have great versatility and has been much developed by the Zardi & Zardi designers, who have created a number of products enabling our clients to choose from a range of single, double or triple Printed Linen Panels, as well as the entire Panorama or Le Carnaval des Animaux (both eight panels).
Available in: Aragon and Alba Rosa
