Selected from the Victoria and Albert Museum’s collection, this elegant verdure tapestry is one of our most popular designs. The verdure format is a classic tapestry style originating from France and Belgium in the 17th and 18th centuries. With their focus on verdant landscapes depicting flora and fauna, verdure tapestries adorned interiors before the arrival of wallpaper. The V&A’s tapestry was possibly woven by Raphael de la Planche in Paris around 1625–60.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Width - Each drop has a finished width of 130 cm. The drops are supplied as individual Printed Linen Panels and will need to be seamed together.

Height - This design is available at heights of 325 cm / 300 cm / 275 cm and is intended to be hemmed top and bottom to fit your space. Please choose the height appropriate to the needs of your project.

Print Allowances - Printed Linens have a 1 cm allowance running down each of the side edges to allow for seaming drops together. There is also a 5 cm Print Allowance running along the bottom edge in the form of a Mirror Bleed (see image below); this is not intended to be part of the finished design and should be turned up and hemmed.
